 dies\, presenting Swedish guitarist Jacob Kellermann and Chinese violinist
  and violist Luosha Fang in a rare duo recital.\n\nTheir program connects 
 Central Europe\, the Iberian Peninsula\, and the Mediterranean through mus
 ic by Schubert\, Britten\, de Falla\, Castelnuovo-Tedesco\, and Francisco 
 Coll\, including the U.S. premiere of Coll’s Sephardic Song for viola an
 d guitar.\n\nPresented by Millbrook Music Salon at the Cary Institute\, th
 e evening showcases the evocative and seldom-heard pairing of viola and gu

 st\nJacob Kellermann\nLeading Swedish classical guitarist Jacob Kellermann
  is one of the most visible and respected guitarists of his generation. He
  has released four albums on BIS Records—Gubaidulina: Repentance (2014)\
 , Schubert Sonatas (2018)\, Rodrigo\, Harden &amp\; Coll: Guitar Works (20
 20)\, and Takemitsu: Spectral Canticle (2023)—each met with critical acc
 laim\; his 2020 release received a Swedish Grammy for Best Classical Album
 \, was named #1 Record of the Year by Dagens Nyheter\, and was listed as a
  Diapason d’Or selection.\n\nKellermann has appeared as a soloist with l
 eading orchestras around the world\, including the London Philharmonic Orc
 hestra\, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra\, Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchest
 ra\, Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra\, Bielefelder Philharmoniker\, Quer
 étaro Philharmonic Orchestra\, Incheon Philharmonic Orchestra\, and Talli
 nn Chamber Orchestra. He also performed at the official Nobel Prize Ceremo
 ny in Stockholm\, a distinction shared by only a select few Swedish musici
 ans.\n\nA dedicated collaborator with composers and ensembles\, Kellermann
  has premiered concertos with Scandinavian contemporary music groups such 
 as BIT20 Bergen and Norrbotten NEO and is co-founder of the Netherlands-ba
 sed New European Ensemble\, specializing in contemporary repertoire.\n\nKe
 llermann studied in Sweden\, Spain\, the Netherlands\, and Germany\, earni
 ng a Meisterklasse Diploma at the Hochschule für Musik in München. He re
 gularly gives masterclasses and artist residencies internationally\, shari
 ng his expertise on performance practice\, contemporary work\, and guitar 
 technique.\nLuosha Fang (violin/viola)\nChinese-born violinist and violist
  Luosha Fang is a prizewinning soloist and chamber musician based in New Y
 ork. She is a winner of Astral Artists’ 2013 National Auditions and the 
 S&amp\;R Foundation’s 2015 Washington Award\, and has also won 1st Prize
  at the 2019 Classic Strings International Competition (Vienna) and the 20
 18 Tokyo International Viola Competition.\n\nOrchestral / solo appearances
  include performances as violin soloist with the Saint Paul Chamber Orches
 tra\, Louisville Orchestra\, West Virginia Symphony\, Bay-Atlantic Symphon
 y\, and the American Symphony Orchestra (including the U.S. premiere of Gr
 ażyna Bacewicz’s Violin Concerto No. 5). As a violist\, she has appeare
 d with the New Japan Philharmonic\, Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra\, Hirosh
 ima Symphony Orchestra\, Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra\, and the Franz L
 iszt Chamber Orchestra.\n\nFang has performed at major halls including Car
 negie Hall\, the Kennedy Center\, the Library of Congress\, Wigmore Hall\,
  the Elbphilharmonie\, and the Auditorio Nacional de Música (Madrid).\n\n
 Her recordings include two commercial releases: Johannes Brahms: Quintets 
 Op. 34 &amp\; 111 (Supraphon) and George Tsontakis: Unforgettable with the
  Albany Symphony Orchestra (Naxos). (A further album\, Collective Memories
 \, is announced for release in early 2026.)\n\nFang served as violist of t
 he Pavel Haas Quartet (Prague) in 2021–22 and recorded with the ensemble
 . She is on faculty at the Bard Conservatory of Music (violin/viola).\n\n\
