The 2026 Spring Season of Millbrook Music Salon continues our mission of bringing exceptional musicians into close connection with the Hudson Valley community. Presented across venues including Grace Church, the Cary Institute of Ecosystem Studies, Stonewood Farm, and Bennett Park, this season brings internationally recognized artists to Millbrook while expanding access to live music through community partnerships and educational programs.
The season features a wide range of performances, from violinist Kristin Lee and pianist John Novacek in a vibrant program celebrating American music, to pianist Julia Hamos in the International Piano Series. Swedish guitarist Jacob Kellermann and violist Luosha Fang appear in our first collaboration with the Cary Institute, while Canadian cellist Arlen Hlusko brings an intimate solo recital to Stonewood Farm. A contemporary chamber program by the Greenroom Ensemble brings together leading young artists including Avery Fisher Career Grant recipient Sterling Elliott.
Education remains central to our work. This spring, Millbrook Music Salon presents school assemblies at Dutchess Day School and Alden Place Elementary School, introducing local students to chamber music through performances and interactive demonstrations with visiting artists.
The season also includes a festive open-air Concert Truck performance in Bennett Park, and concludes with the Balourdet Quartet and clarinetist Graeme Steele Johnson in a program centered on Viet Cuong’s new clarinet quintet Compass.
Across concerts, partnerships, and educational initiatives, Millbrook Music Salon continues to build a cultural home for chamber music in the region—connecting world-class artists with audiences in intimate and meaningful ways. Our Summer–Fall 2026 season will be announced soon.
